Complaints handling

We do our utmost to provide you with the best care you need during the pregnancy. If at any moment in the care path with the midwife, gynaecologist, sonographer or External Cephalic Version (ECV) specialist, you are not satisfied with the care we provide, we advise you to first discuss this with the care provider concerned. Maybe it is just a misunderstanding that can be resolved in a personal conversation.

If the conversation was not to your satisfaction, there are other options available to you. For more information please refer to the Complaint Brochure.

Would you like information on how to get your complaint handled? Do you need any advise about this or do you need help in formulating or discussing your complaint? Would you like mediation to resolve your complaint? It is also possible to lodge your complaint with the Dutch Professional Association for Sonographers' independent complaint officer (BEN). This complaint officer works at Klacht & Company.

Were you unable to mutually resolve your complaint? If so, you can submit your dispute to the Stichting Geschilleninstantie Verloskunde .This independent committee is officially recognised by the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport and as such meets all legal requirements
