3/4D elective ultrasound

A 3/4D elective ultrasound makes it easy to take a good look at your baby. You might even recognize some of your own or partners features!

The quality of the images depends on the amount of amniotic fluid, the position of your baby and sometimes on your Body Mass Index (BMI).

If you choose to do an elective ultrasound in 3/4D it is good to know that the best time to do so is between week 25 and week 29 of your pregnancy. After week 32 your baby will be too big to get a good image and that's why we don't recommend doing an ultrasound in 3/4D after week 32.
